Pre - pressure
I have a brittish generator with a pre lube pump. It is a simple cheapish fuel / oil transfer pump. gets up to about 35psi. All my M seriese trucks have pre lube pumps. Although bigger like from fork truck or vehicle tailgate lifts. etc. I also use units off the walk behind...
So I wish to move to a new location some 200 miles away as it is FAR too difficult working on my own with all my vehicles. I have friends with Good barn space and storage, where many military collectors (therefore)helpers Hang out., and I would be closer to a new variety of rallies and shows.

Can Diesel engines be converted to run on LPG?
There are currently two ways of using LPG as a fuel for a Diesel engine;
1. To truly convert the engine by reducing its compression ratio and provide it with spark ignition.
Lack of Spark Ignition
Diesel engines do not have this...

It took me forever to read the filter saga!..and still could not work out what was intended/acheived..(mebbe old age). SO, you want good start up pressure? SIMPLE..a 24 volt gear pump. (ex fork truck or pallet truck) ONE pipe from sump. One Pipe to (any) filter housing. Wire up through a...

Build
Ok , Will take pictures of this pump. I have placed posts before on a different type of (unreliable pump as it turned out) on utube, and S.S. But to re-cap. (the title of one post I think last year) To keep it simple (the job) Remove sump plug. Relace with a 3/4 hydraulic hose union...
Here is the final version Engine Oil Pre-Lube Pump. It work really well. I am so pleased with this pump I shall now go through and replace all my previouse pre-lube pumps with this type. Runs quieter, Primes soonish. raises pressure to engine oil system relief valve pressure, thus priming all...
Nice Haul
But that trailer and load look over what the towing vehicle should pull with the single wheel rears. What braking do those pickups use to those trailer types? are they electric or what?. We are making an F350 4x4 into a recovery truck, and have hydraulic bed trailer for it. but...
My filter option
The unit I use ("made in America") cost less than £100 , comprising Canisster, filter Cartridges and piping. I found a picture, and it really is a simple layout. (as you see).
The filter Cartridges are 5 and 1 (one!) micron. Used Auto trans fluid is what I filter through. I...
