Lots can go wrong with the pump. If the impeller is pushed too far onto the shaft, it will not have the correct block pressure and have a slow steady overheat under a load. Make sure that the seal around the stat is in good condition or, there at all. If it isn't there, coolant will go around...

That looks like the same core/blower for the M151. It is a 20k BTU unit. The std deuce heater is 30k BTU. If you are NOT in a very cold area, it will work good for defroster and a cab warmer. If you live where it gets butt cold, it might not work so good for you. If you decide to get one of...

Here's what mine looked like when I got it. It came from DRMO El Toro and sat at the Montebello Police/School district lot for easy 10 years and then with some touch up using Aervo rattle cans. It fades over time.

If you've done the button and batteries, a guess would be the solenoid. If the issue is present now, whip out the DVOM and track it down. I could be a wire that has multiple strands broken so when the amb. temp reaches the magic number, there is too much resistance in the wire and the amperage...
