Good luck, hope you get it home with no other mishaps! The fender is.....interesting. I think i'd hang the damaged parts on the garage wall. They'll make great conversation pieces and you'll have great stories to tell when you and your buds are out there suckin up your favorite beverage.
Steam clean them with 300+ degree water/steam. They'll be squeaky clean! It will also turn the grease that has solidified back into a liquid so it "disappears".
Mine is still hooked up and working. The only disadvantage I could see is that if you ran a thin fuel, like gas or a mix of it, the pump will meter for a dense fuel and possibly mess things up.
See if Bjorn chimes in, he's the best at this.
Well, got a chance to remove and dis assemble one of the adjusters today. The TM says to break track and disassemble the tensioner wheel...well I guess if you have deep pockets like Uncle Sugar, you can do that and not have to worry about excess repacement items. Ended up removing the two upper...
Tracked stuff is cool, but it is not made for the bigger guys. I'm 6'1 and it is tough getting in most armor let alone sitting at the drivers position. I was in a Stewat=rt the other day and I thought I wasn't gonna get out after wiggling into it!
That's a sweet unit. I saw some pics Toadman has taken of a couple of them. I'd love to see a real one...but it wouldn't sound as sweet as the SB Chevy!

HA, I fibbed a bit! It was fabbed up by a movie production company from an M5 HST the Museum had...had no engine...I think it was Wind Talkers. Shipped to the land down under, made this, filmed and brought back to the Museum. Not real, but is still cool to tinker with. HAs an Austrailian made GM...
You guys are making wanna puke! Bigelk, that sucks. We ALL need to be careful working on our junk or doing other things that involves the use of ANYTHING that doesn't care if we hurt ourselves.
Social director! I like that! Dirtbag is still a go if people still wana do it. My calendar is just full for the first half of the year. Let's hang out a few days and see who else pipes up. I can't wait to see your GG! One of these days i'll talk Craig into keeping one of his in ready to run...
I think that was the ones that were in Hi a few years back...had a metal frame covered with expanded metal. Drgregs looks like the cover is standard but the sides are solid, includind the front rack. Got pics of the inside?
