WOW! sorry for your demise..hope you get lucky in a fix up for it..This the reason I fitted pre-lube pumps on all my multifuel trucks. just coudnt stand the anxiety phase waiting for some oil pressure for ages! now I have (at least) 15 psi BEFORE I hit the go button.

NO oil pressure on start and non for too long after!? is WHY Ive fitted pre-lube pumps on all my trucks! well at least I feel that more reasured/happy with (at least) 15lbs pressure BEFORE I hit the go button.

Pressure on fire up Primer Pump gives Pressure on fire up 15lbs psi..really good..I am well pleased! climbs up to 60lbs psi (cold) within 5/6 seconds. Also I shall re-fit the cover at chassis side (for the orriginal protection) and with hinge ability to facilitate access to the primer pump. etc.

I have just finished fitting the engine oil primer kit today...works great! I now have one on both my REO and my I/H. M62 wrecker. (so hopefull no potential self=destuct mode now!) see post on self destruct! with pics

Niether actually it's the old (but good) M62. I.H. multifuel (usefull FREE FUEL!) it's (also) in A.1. Condition. (& fitted with an engine oil pre-primer) (as is my latest aquisition see post about my 5ton REO "praga" conversion. (both mods! Oil PRIMER and radio body) just completed on that one!

Whats up The Radio Body came off My praga 3vs, and the "haglan body (I bought as is)came off my 5 Ton REO. and (I did not like the set up /angle of) the body wich was too small to camp in really. tho kids liked the wizzing radar dish and lights etc! Once on the REO I liked the look way better...

AhhA! spot the deliberate error! dissaponted with my lack of latteral thinking! heres how it SHOULD be done first off! it's mounted on the 5 ton reo now and will test over the weekend. when the wiring and switch is in place on dash.

well as seen in my photo gallery Pre Prime engine oil to filter mod.. here a cheaper and certainly EASY way to stop that "scary" no oil pressure for heart stopping ages on multi 465 engines. I will post as WE go. Time spent up to now? 4 hours! including going to the supply store for the bits.

yes it's "pushing eye" common on quarry or yard trucks over here I will not remove it (original spoil or not) as I will def use it for nosing my 47 foot recovery trailer

The trailer will go well with the new aquisition (5 Ton tractor unit) I have just rescued.
