S.Y.B. is just a (typical Aussi!) name for another ether start product. same as easy start (in U.K.) with the correct winter oils and a good run of the (fitted) flame heater on the deuce.. you will have to go somewhere beyond reason not to start a deuce (or any M/f ) in cold...

P.P.S. My M62 has an engine prelube..(so) runs up to about 15psi before I hit the start button. So it aint lack of startup lube thro the (dreaded) filters on my engines.

I can now report that the mod to all my M series trucks , fitting a second switch next to the master checks out all ok. all the trucks run fine at all speeds and loads. The sequence now is master on. fuel pump switch on. start (with or without flame heat). On drive off fuel, fuel pump switch...

I agree with your concerns but I would NEVER have paid that momey for a pump. and I have modified my switching, see post in 5 ton up. with pics. the second isolater for the fuel pump is the little switch right next to the main master. arent you just a little curiouse to know WHY your truck...
