Hello to all you ferret owners...I've had 589 for 32+ years...you can look at all my old posts to see some photos....some people love them...some don't...nothing is perfect...most say they are hard to work on...isn't everything? Its my hobby...she is my little girl...found out she has some cool...
All you ferret owners....park yours with 1st gear engaged...and never use the gear change pedal as a clutch!!! These are some rules for the Wilson type gear boxes I thought everyone should know....peace....love and good happiness stuff.
There were 4409 ferrets produced...but many were used as hard targets on firing ranges and sent to scrap yards...so take care of your old girls...and any parts...best to you all...
Oh dear....!!!!! Beautiful....love that .....thank you for the photo....please more photos...ferret owners...take care of the little things.....there getting harder to find.....cheers from ohio
Great looking old girl.....if that is the original paint I personally would never repaint.....Crater....Aden....Yemen.....history......preserve it.....best to you....great ferret !!!!
Well the original looked to be cork...so I used a cork gasket material....so far so good...no leaks....but keep the switching from main to reserve to a minimum.....the Teflon idea you have sounds good....worth a try.....
