    cooling system capacity?

Every time I have to drain the coolant from mine, it never takes all of right away. I even put draincocks in the intake manifold before the stat for fill venting and it STILL keeps a giant air bubble in the system. See if you can force feed it with a cooling system pressurizer. I think the air...

    Fuel leak injector lines

Steve, that kinda looks like oil. I'd try cleaning it off and watching it to see where it's comming from when it's at idle or high idle.

Spin on conversion DONE !!! M809 NHC 250

There is. Any PT/G pump can have a pump mounted, spin on added to it. I have one at work. I'll snap a pic and get a list of parts together along with a price.

    Deuce radiator info...yes I searched.....

When I had mine fixed...don't ask, The shop I used asked what it was for. They said it was an unusual core. I have heard that they are difficult and expensive to replace. Thankfully, mine was good exceptfor the drain bung that I twisted out.

    engine help

Or high or low throttle shaft leakage, or a lose overhead, or not getting full throttle. Put some good fuel in it and run it a bit and see what happens. Run it down the road, not idle time.

    Discolored/shellaced(?) gas

When I get the FedEx stuff...or anything else, I mix it at around 65-75 diesel and the rest gas. I mix it in a regular barrel, 55 gal or some smaller 20 gal ones, usually by just filling the container with a vane pump...no filter. Then, after it sits a bit, I use a 12vdc flammable liquid...

    M35A2 Cargo Bed Bow Stowage????

Hey Kyle, Here's what I did. Got a complete front rack and pulled the holders off. Goes right on the existing rack with a bit of drilling. The uprights I am using are the short metal ones so they don't protrude past the bottom of the holders, one of the troop seat posts is dented and won't allow...

Fantasy Engine for the 809 series

Last w-end was the first time I noted a power difference in the deuce. From around sea level to 5k was a very noticable transition. I thought there might be a problem, but, then remembered the alt. change and just enjoyed the smoke for a bit. Got worried though when I passed a CHP on the side of...

MV and off road event in Tehachapi, Ca

Well, made it there and back and only developed a gear oil leak at the t-case high/low shaft. Truck ran like a champ. Ya know, without the canvas sail on the back, it will run 50MPH all day long and hangs on the hills real well! 320 miles, RT. Got to fire some sweet weapons, a single shot, bolt...

Head bolt torque, take a good look at this

That is a late sty;e head gasket...thet were released in around 1993. Someone has been into it. Be extremely carful when you clean the block. The liner has a fire ring, it is the only thing that seals the compression. Use a wire brush and brake clean. DO NOT use an orbital buffer, if it hits the...
