Use a rubber mudflap, a nice sharp razor knife to cut the outside and a gasket punch for the ID. Then slot it and use gorilla glue to hold it together. That will last longer, or, you can use pipe insulation...you know, the foam sticks that have a slit in them.

If there was a plasma cutter available, it work very well on the rivits too. Hope your knee gets better..it could have been worse, glad it wasn't. The wheelbase looks perfect and, IMHO, it looks mucho better than using the 105 bed...not picking on anyone who has one, just an opinion. Hey...if...

As long as you get an engine that is piston cooled, it can be made into a 400 hp pig, so, if you find a 290, 300, etc, for a good deal, grab it. Isn't a turbo 400 a GM transmission? :wink:

It is there so the pump doesn't get messed up. Have someone step on the gas...with the engine off. See if the pump mounted lever goes to the stop and "breaks over", meaning, the spring will compress a bit. It just makes it bit easier on the internals of the pump, and, when you have your foot on...

If you put a new governor on it and are still having issues, it might be the unloader in the compressor. I have never had one of these compressors apart, but, if it is a single cylinder Midland, they are kinda hard to find parts for, it might be easier to get another compressor, but, you can...

Sometimes just losening and re tightening the line will stop the leak. Give that a try 1st, but, it is always good to have another set for just in case. As for the welding of the line. Might get you outa the woods, but it will break again, usually at the end of the weld. Remember, there is 15k...

My kit had the instructions in it...I think. If they are there I will see about getting them in the TM section.
