Is there a way of finding out if a vehicle has an EUC on it? The CUCV that a friend of mine is looking at has been is civi hands for a while and the current owner does not know if there might be an EUC on it. He wants to export it to NZ. Thanks, Will

Well, depends. Any engine manufactured after January 1 2007 will have a closed crankcase vent. so the cc pressure is factored into the readings monitored by th eengine ECM. Prior to 01-01-07, the CCV was an optional thing. Cummins Nat gas engines had/have it. All other engine platforms did not...

I've been kickin' this around too. I got a couple of sets and want to install them in the truck and trailer.I instantly thought of a plasma cutter. Now that I have seen the way Jeff has installed them, I like it...small hole, able to use a hole saw. But, will the tiedowns be as strong installed...

According to David Doyles' book, An M51A2 W/W has a value of between 1800. and 29k for a pristine...not so rare. An 817 W/W, 1500 to around 29k..again, not so rare. A 929A1 WO/W, 3500 to around 36k, a bit more rare to see. There is also the M930 W/W...same as the 929, but with a winch.

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Air comming out of air cleaner Put air down the injector hole with both pushtubes out of the cylinder. If you hear air hissing out the intake or exhaust, there is a problem. If not, put another pushtube in it and set the valves and see what happens.

Which one do you have? Holes compressor always had a funky noise to it. Turned out the head gasket was popped out of it. Someone had assembled it with an orange goo...not silicone, but some soft, non hardening stuff. I took the head off today and found the gasket pushed out form the sealant...

I'd say yes, add a bit of marvel mystery oil every now and then. Jeff, funny you should mention white lines painted on the clutch and brake pedal shafts. Mine has the same marks. The clutch mark is at the free play limit and the same for the brakes.

The sound could be comming from the blow-by tube. If the M/C is vented to the rest of the vents, it will push air and fluid out the tube.
