Is it possible to change the way new posts are handled? Currently, when the count of new posts reaches a certain number, they are purged and the count starts again at zero. How about if there was a rolling count of say 30 or 40 new posts. As a new post was entered, one would drop off the...
I don't remember mine having that many fittings behind it, but I'm going from memory. Very good that you found out before your pressure went to zero! Thanks for the notice - I'm going to check mine when I get back home from the trip I'm on.
I admit I really like my CTIS also. Especially once I found out that my tire leakage problems were not caused by the CTIS, but instead by leaky valve stem grommets. My problem is that I run 55 psi in the tires because it drives and handles much better than 45 psi. I could probably get the unit...
I agree with the M35A3C. Those beds are popular and easy to sell. A little off topic, but I personally would not hire a firefighter that couldn't drive a manual transmission. Fire fighters become involved in many emergency situations where the skill to drive a manual transmission could be...
My A3 has a smaller diameter wheel than my A2. I'm travelling at present so I cannot measure the two wheels. Two inch smaller diameter sounds about right though.
As others have said, be very careful with that tire as it has obviously been driven flat. I recovered my A3 at Fort McCoy in Wisconsin and drove it home to Georgia and blew a tire in Kentucky. Bad news. I would put the spare on if it has a good one. One thing I have found out is that tires...
I always use the white nozzle. The black nozzle is supposed to put out a narrower cone of paint, but I find it harder to use without putting too much on. I use the white nozzle with several light coats. You can actually get pretty good at it.
Can you take it to another inspection station, one located in a very rural area away from Philadelphia? What about the inspection station it was inspected at previously? Might be time for a road trip.
The Gillespie comes with two nozzles depending on the sparay pattern if you use the rattle cans. I used Gillespie and was quite happy. It was a little shiny for a couple of days but eventually matched perfectly with the CARC from the Army. As previously, multiple thin coats are key. There is...
It is against the rules to discuss an auction that is still open. Aside from that, the guys at Fort Indiantown Gap are great. I recovered an M35A2 there in 2009. Started it up and drove it home to Georgia with zero problems.
Changing out the transmission is no big deal. I would check the frame carefully. It sounds like it is definitely worth the price if you intend to bob it anywhay and you can part it our for a lot more than you're paying for it if the bob doesn't work out.
A lot depends on what your needs are. Do you need a 5 ton tractor? Do you need the A3? Or do you just play with them and have no practical use for either of them? If your A3 and 101A3 trailer are in good shape as you indicated, I would think the offer is way low. Also, you will need a CDL for...
Ditto on everything posted so far. When I run in parades I hang banners on the truck. U.S. Army and Support our Troops on the sides and MIA - POW on the back. I usually also pull a trailer, either my M105A2 or M149A2. Remember, this is celebrating Independence Day so hang flags as well if...
