Mike and Chris and all the other moderators, thanks alot for a beautiful site. Without it, I would not have been able to become as familliar with my vehicle as I am now. If there is anything I can do, please let me know. I owe ya. Now, go take a nap! Thanks guys.
There's no wires on Mikes' new lights. The only thing i'd be scared of would be melting the potting or the factory soldering on the new light. It looks like there is solder on the light already. Maybe snip the wires off your old light, strip them, give them a good solder, then try to put then...

I for got where I got this box of linings, but they arent for a 2 1/2 ton truck..well, an M35 anyway. Any one know what they are for? Found the NSN on line, but no description.
TIA guys.
Funny thing. I got them a month ago and didn't inspect them...shame on me, I just saw there were two items in the box. After I posted the above, I thought..'why not try ASKING if it was a mistake and if they didn't mind, swapping an inner for an outer?' Duh! Well, went to the feedback...
Freekin e-bay people...well baybe he didn't know. I bid and won a set of e-brake shoes. Way fast shipping, gerat person to deal with, but when I got them, there were two inners. CRAP! Anyone got an outer they want to trade or sell?
RE: hook ups
The FMTV wrecker looks like it's never been used! I see that type of 5th wheel mounted tow device all lth time. Alot of the larger trucking outfits use them to attach to their own tractors and tow a disabled truck back to their own in house repair facillity. JB Hunt, Mount ...
Try taking the linkage off of the arm on the pump. If the pump isn't going all the way back to the idle stop, when it's started, with no load on it, it will ramp up to anywhere in between low idle and rated RPM.
I saw another post on this but I didn't wanna hijack it...Speaking of bridge plates, since i'll be pulling a trailer around, my bridge plate has no "C" on the top. Does anyone have a bonus yellow top plate with a "C", or a complete assy...yellow please.. with numbers, plate they'd like to part with?
65 ft lbs pops into my head for some reason...no manuals here at work. Just be sure the cans don't turn as you torque them. The gasket will be damaged and you'll have a leak.
RE: Air escaping from under the rood
Air governer. They are way simple. Alot of times, if things sit, you can give it a squirt or two at both lines going into the governer with marvel mystery or an equivilant air up and give it a few love taps and it will free up
