    My brake lights stopped working today. The switch is still at the end of the air pak.     Yes, class fit parts can be lapped to be renewed. A very fine crokus cloth with the edge taken off and diesel, or Clover extra fine compound will do the trick.

    Sounds like a fuel pump governer issue? When it idles fine, what speed is it at? It should be at around 850 RPM.
