If I make a lengthy post or a complicated post, I always copy the text before submission. Occasionally, I have issues with the post going through and I have to login to SS again and often my text has disappeared. When this happens, it is very nice to hit Ctrl V and be right back where I left off.
I agree. There are all kinds of things to short out. I'm still trying to look around in there with a small mirror. It is so crowded in there it's very difficult to see anything. With the cover on, there is no way for the nut to get out. I did find the washer and fortunately it was on the...
While painting the seat framework on my Deuce, I managed to lose the drivers seat adjustment lever, spring and pin. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement? This is the old design seat on a 1969 Kaiser Jeep. The attached photo showes where the adjuster is attached to the seat frame. I...
I made an interesting discovery today on my MEP-003A GenSet. I removed the lower cover where the power output cables are attached to the bottom of the output connectors. I had never had this cover off before. Three of the nuts, L2, L3 and L0,securing the cables to the connectors were loose...

I was getting cupping on the outside, but only on the passenger side tire. The drivers side tire wears fairly fast, but it is even wear. Several tire people told me that the cupping was caused by bad shocks in most cases. I believed them because they were not trying to sell me either tires or...
Why not contact Mercedes and find out the name of the paint manufacturer, type of paint and RAL number? If the original paint was so good, I would bring it back to the original.
To tell you the truth, I can't tell much difference on the road and I have not yet taken it off-road for a comparison. I think the front suspension is so stiff that it is hard to tell. I'm hoping it will help my tire wear, however. I was told that the wear pattern on my tires was due to worn...
