I voted box. I was gonna try to get a springer, but I sat in my buddys truck with a springer and it felt too cramped, sat too high, steering wheel too close, made it seem harder to steer. I'll stay with the box.

Wow! I noticed that last night and today. It did it at home and work, so I know it isn't my junk. It isn't doing it now, must be fixed. I browse the same way you do, from the main page.

White smoke can be a timing issue too. Not necessarily the pump timing, but late injecction. The injection pump needs a low pressure source to make the correct high pressure. If the low pressure isn't sufficient, white smoke will happen because there isn't enough flow to fill the timing chambers...

Best idea yet, just make sure the engine stop is pulled all the way out as Joel mentioned, and keep it moving VERY slowly. The Deuce engine WILL run in reverse, not a good situation for the engine. Sorry, haven't figuerd out how to quote. You mean that if you have the trans in R, and pull it...

Make sure the master cylinder has juice in it BEFORE you depress the brake pedal.

Mine is leaking oil at the front of the #1 head. The gasket is blown, it's been spitting at the groove under # 1 exhaust port for 5 months or so. After I put hoses on it,I steamed it off. Now there is so much oil on the exhaust side and front that it's running down the block, across the pan rail...

Wwhy are there 2? Will just the long one work or will just the short one work?
