An additional thing to add. When we connected with the Dana diagnostic tool the unit would stop the cycling, and we were able to get it to inflate and deflate. This makes me think the solenoids are good(and they ohmed out good) However what was very strange was that as soon as the system was...
Actually it worked amazing! Yeah its hard to tell in the sand but those were down at 20psi. Its really noticeable the squish on pavement, but not so much in the sand. The CTIS complains if you go over like 12 miles an hour in the sand mode, so I tried cross country which is 35 psi I believe and...
Yeah I am going to go to Harbor Garbage tomorrow and buy a regulator.. I got a little impatient last night and hooked it up to the shop air as-is and while no hoses blew off, there were some creaks and groans, so I hope I didn't do any damage...
Thanks for all the helpful info, that manual controller looks pretty sweet! Good job on that.
that being said, I do have the Dana Diagnostic Tool which has an option for test and hold (among other things) that will allow for in-depth troubleshooting. This is why I want to run the truck off the...
Hey all. Has anyone had experience hooking their LMTV to shop air so that they can troubleshoot air issues without the engine running?
I tried hooking up to the front service gladhand, but the system didn’t take much air. I looked at the pneumatic schematic in the TM and I think maybe that’s...
Care to elaborate on this for those of us newcomers who are not up to speed. I am a new MV owner as well as a new member of an mvpa affiliated club and hadn’t heard that the parent organization was problematic in this regard.
This sounds like the problem I had with mine, it was related to lowering the cab with the cab air leveling system engaged. I always raise and lower the cab with the air ride bags deflated and I haven't had the problem again.
Have you checked to make sure the PAC Brake isn’t getting stuck on? When I first got my truck it was sticking and resulted in a dramatic reduction in power.
This LMTV is the first vehicle with a winch I have ever owned, so I have a lot to learn. I really appreciate all the tips and information you shared, thanks for taking the time to post that. On the subject of safety, Do you think it would make sense to add a remote control to the SRW winch when...

Check out this double snatch block. So here is a question, since the 7th layer pull of my SRW is only like 6k, what if i went from the winch to this guy, then back to another snatch block on the drivers side shackle, then back to this double snatch and...
Did that one actually come with a winch truck? It doesn't look like a Skookum model 62 which is what I have heard other people say is what would have come with a winch truck.
As to how much it is worth, I have no idea, however if you do want to sell please let me know what you are asking.
My hunt only revealed part numbers, but not diagrams or anything? Maybe I looked in the wrong place? My interest in the accessories is just to know (for example) what an official winch truck snatch block looks like, so even if some website fudges the NSN of their product, I would know if it’s...
