Sorry, can’t remember. Just used a cat bolt on pump.( piggybacks the air compressor)
borgstroms? For steering u joints etc. reservoir from Amazon. And had two hoses
fabbed up.
If your “o rings” look good just use some seale. Only had to change 1
”o ring”, a friend did not line it up on his assembly and would not hold air
after an hour.
And maybe one or more of the rear axles are moving around which is affecting
your steering? And swapped in dextron 3 in our trans about 4 years
ago, much better now.
Looked today and got some measurements, from the steering box, have a 6” steering
“arm” connecting to the shaft of the box, leading down to a steering arm connecting to the steering “axle knuckle” with a center to center of 9”.
the 2 to third axle wheel base is 60”. The springs are three leaves...
Sorry not exactly a tech savvy guy. Will also measure the Pittman arm and to be honest I thick we did some calculations and by dumb luck it came out right on figuring the Pittman arm ratio.
Can’t remember where we got the springs. But we put the 53” tires on there for speed and durability. Will go out tomorrow and measure the 2nd and third axle
wheelbase. I‘m guessing that a spring manufacture place can set you up.
and I will measure the width and thickness of the springs also...
Yea ours is the same way, makes me nervous when any engine I’m behind isn’t showing 30 psi or better at idle. But some are just fine for many miles like that.

Marvel mystery oil is basically two parts low flash point solvent and one part atf. Just look up the
MSDS and there it is. I have never been a fan of putting solvent in my engines.

We bought an A3 5-6 years ago, yes it’s nice to put ‘12 2X4s in the back and we can put 3 four wheelres in the back when we go ride.
we modified it with a aluminum top, stretched the rear axles to put the “53 tires
on it. which of course raised the cruise speed. It’s been to Indiana and...
Sorry, just got back home from being on the road for a while. “.032 is easy to
bend, held in place with “Clecos”, straitened it up with cargo straps.
had to use cherry rivets for the blind holes at the bottom.
used “3/16 in the blind holes, and used “5/32 solids for almost everything else.
and...
Used “.032 2024 T3 for the round sides, .040 for the center back and .062 for
the top. In case someone stood on it. And we have went through many tree limbs
with no damage so far.
