3 just sold on Gov planet a few months ago. did not come up on my saved search and just happen to turn on the auction when as the last one was selling. proud owner of one now.
I would like to see your ladder set up getting in the truck. I am going to need to do something similar as that first step onto my LMTV is just not fun and i would like to drive it more. FYI only an hour north of your location always looking for fellow FMV people in the area.
One guy mentioned about it operating at 53HRTZ but I didn't know if that was an issue because it just now started running again...Sounds like an ex-girlfriend I used to have. Moody, sometimes she was on,other times not and of course it was always my fault.
That one guy was me and i said it...
I think your jumping the gun in chucking parts. From your videos your not to the point of start but no run. It only cranked with the dead crank which will never start the engine. I think your in need of some deoxit(contact cleaner) and a little more studying of the TM trouble shooting...
Back to blockwarden's original question. do the fuse and mov mod and run it hard. if the smoke gets worse then pull the injector meter pumps out and clean them but other wise. run it. This is not a DEF, DPF, modern pain in the rear EPA restricted Diesel Engine.
i bought some 531's recently because the price was right and shipping wasnt too bad since they were in Michigan, but i can't seem to get much interest in selling the ones i have 802's, 1040's, 803a Whisperwatt, Yanmar. and since Yellow freight went under shipping any from out of state is a no...
The thing that has puzzled me is that I have one unit, as well as a Yanmar 5500 watt generator and the injector pump intake nozzle faces the other way therefore eliminating the 90 degree fitting and the curve that causes the air bubble not sure why they would not have made that change at some...
Good luck when i was buying them out of PA they never tested them and got 4 bad ones out of 9 , I have 7 coming from michigan at least i know they turn over and i have parts machines
just got rid of my Kubota Grand L4060 to up my game to a Kubota SVL 75-2 tracked skid steer 60 inch forks, picks up an 803 on a trailer nicely. no more pucker factor.
You have already made up your mind to buy another one don't try to fool us. most of us know the sickness that is Generators. My wife asks all the time is that one for sale or for the personal collection?
i drive by that place weekly and i thought they closed a long time ago seeing how run down it looks. If anyone is in need of something let me know as i work about a mile away from it. I know next to nothing about the radio stuff but would be happy to pick something up.
The last piece that i was missing on this generator was the dust ejector on the air filter. all used ones that i have seen sell have the remains of it melted to the valve cover. This one was no exception as it was like a puddle of goo. I absolutely could not find a part number in the TM i...
Also the AMMPs screen does a whole lot more than just give maintenance and readings, its the brains and logic of the whole machine. Everything behind your panel on the 8xx series is in that computer box on the AMMPS machines.
I had a lot of issues with Yellow Freight but the price was worth it and for places like the GP PA warehouse that you can't get an appointment for over a month they were great because they had a trailer there that was loaded several days a week
These are even more quiet than the whisperwatts. at least the onese i have because both of mine are 3600 rpm units when ever power is used in idle they are quiet. Now put any of the above next to a yanmar 5500 watt or an mep 531 then you have a real comparison of quiet versus loud
