I think you just need to adjust your thinking a little. All you need to do is keep buying more Mil surplus equipment and magic no need to spend all the time and money on a conversion. You have 2 now so your well on your way. slave cable and more equipment done.
Just make sure you make an appointment to pick it up. since my last post on this thread about my experiences i just use a broker now and it gets handled without stress.
If anyone is still looking for a Paper TM PM me as i have a new in the package version for MK23-MK28. Also have a several parts from the basic issue kit because i bought the kit for my LMTV and took what i needed. probably will never own a 7 ton. nice trucks though---Manual has been spoken for.

Pretty tough to pick up when your many states away free or not. craigslist or Facebook might be a more appropriate place if your in a hurry to get rid of it. Hope you find someone in Florida. I also do not have a multifuel
the Company i work for we do work at General Dynamic where they rebuild them in Lima Ohio. Can't access certain buildings, but it is fun seeing and listening to them on the test track. good view since we are currently doing work on the roof.
I would be afraid to ask. Him and his wife live on a farm probably in their 50s but after asking questions about power needs aka air conditioner size "well about usual size" and simple things like 10 minutes to explain what wire mesh/hardware cloth was for mouse proofing, i am not sure of his...
