No, you can drive it in MD for a while until someone notices out of state tags since there is a limit. MD inspection places are not allowed to inspect mil vehicles.

There are marks that you line up to remove the HH. (The RED tooth) These are not timing marks but rather servicing marks. Removing it any other way risks damaging the HH. There are also timing marks for the injection timing.
