Our department will be returning our M35A2c to the forest service before too much longer. I'm sure it will be auctioned off. A good running, easy starting truck. Has air o matic steering. Pretty clean except for bed rust. Watch for it to come to auction.

There is apparently a collectors market for WW II jerry cans. Many different makers and as I found out, slight differences from maker to maker. Occasionally you can catch the appropriate cans at garage sales.

This is one of the few drawbacks to using military equipment in volunteer fire departments. Personnel need training using these trucks but probably won't get it or won't pay attention. I made a cheat sheet for our M35a2 but still only a select few are...
Get a box end wrench that fits. Heat and bend the handle 90 degrees cut the handle and weld a 1/2" drive extension to the cut wrench handle. Oh, use the box end, not the open end. Previous older thread has this information.
