I thought master cylinders with DOT5 in them had yellow painted lids.

M35 REO GAS air lines help?

The-10 operator's manual has that. I think you can download them on this site. I saw a paper hardcopy manual for gas Reos for sale recently, don't remember where.

    Someone tampered with Sgt York!

Put a lock on your fuel cap. Diesel is too costly not to mention contamination worries. I'm sorry you have to go through this.

    Axle Flange Gasket or Sealant

The Loctite 518 is good stuff. I've had good success with home made gaskets coated both sides with Hylomar. Must let the Hylomar dry for 5 or 10 minutes or you will have a leak. Gaskets thus treated are often reusable.

M916 conversion to 2500 Gallon Tanker/Pumper for a volunteer fire department

You might want to rethink winch removal. You will eventually stick the tanker and it will be really hard to extract. Been there, didn't get a tee shirt. I've been a VFD member for 30 plus years.

    Bad day for an M52A1

That is a good idea if labor and time is available.

    Bad day for an M52A1

Sorry to hear that. Even if you get a good replacement truck, there is still all the labor and expense of fitting out for fire service.

    M35A2 6 wheel lock up!

Check and make sure the brake linkage has a small amount of free play before it contacts the master cylinder piston.

    Continental 6602 engines

I was wondering how many 5 tons owned by members in the forums are still running the 6602 engines. How are the trucks used?

Outstanding job! You have done well.

Look for "M37 acceleration " threads.

    Backfiring

Your gas tank has a drain plug to check on what's in tank besides gas.

    Backfiring

You can do a search of past posts. Some have had exactly your problem. Good luck and have patience.

Took The Herd For A Ride Today

It's good to get out and blow the stink off as I used to say. Nice collection.
