I got a scratch and dent 18k btu Mr. Cool 19 SEER AC/ Heat pump from Ingram air for $640 for the box camper. It IS 220 volt, BUT we will have that onboard.

Since this thread is all over the board on AC, I thought I would add something. If there is a way to use a 110 volt Mitsubishi split AC unit or similar, consider it. They use A LOT less energy than the roof top models. Invert your voltage. Practical? Well that depends on your set up.

If you are going to Overland in an FMTV, make Unimog owners your BFFs and learn to swear in German. The only people crying harder during Overlanding break down are the Unimogers. They sneeze and Euros fly out lol
