What did you do to your deuce this week?

I thought the Kaiser Jeeps (like mine) have the "whale tail" and the REO & AM General have the twisty top ones.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Rusty, can you put the first gauge before the first filter and the second gave after the 3rd so you know when to change the lot?

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Tracer, I've never seen a Deuce with that air filter on the right. Is that from a 5-ton?

Great job on the top. Now you need to fix those windows! I can barely see through them. LOL! rofl

What did you do to your deuce this week?

My instructions had me pour a thin layer of MEK on top of the mixed Monstaliner in the can & put the lid back on while in between coats. It worked great for me, of course here in AZ, it is warm & each coat dried in just about an hour.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I did 2 gallon cans & 2 quart cans. The gallon can can't hold the two parts of the Monstaliner (plus color if doing tintable). I mixed mine up in a Home Depot bucket & had no problems at all. Best of all, once I was all done, the Monstaliner came off of the plastic very easily (its good for...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Monstaliner is very nice! I just finished redoing the trailer for my Jeep with it. :clinto:

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I totally lined the inside on my cab with "Herculiner" several years ago now. It still looks great ! Took two gallons though. Be sure to paint it to match.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

What is that shredded armadillo looking thing in the lower left in your photo?

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Monstaliner is available in OD Green. http://monstaliner.com/forms/monstaliner_colors.htm I just finished doing my 1972 Ford Courier trailer in blue & black. You could easily do steps & fender tops with the small can.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

My wife said "You can have ONE." I researched a lot of different MVs (M813, M977, FV103 Spartan, Saracen, M923, Ural 4320, & M35A2) and the logistics to maintain each of them. In the end, the M35A2 was the most doable and after finding a beautifully restored 1969 Kaiser Jeep just a couple...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

My Deuce is really a tribute truck so I haven't taken it off-road. Last time I took it down a dusty dirt road, it took me 12-hours to get it clean again for showing. I understand what you're saying & there is a possibility that the drain valve might get stuck on the roof of some Prius or...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Runs fine at 3000 RPM? I'm surprised it isn't flying apart at 3000 RPM since the red line is 2600 RPM. Bad things happen past red line. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVHajrEhHa4

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Rusty, after reading all these posts about Skookum, I checked eBay & found this 10-ton snatch block. I am a bit confused though as in the description it says 4-ton lifting capacity. Well, it if can pull 10-tons, why could it only lift 4-tons? Am I missing something or does this object sound...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Rusty, which size did you use? I went to the Fumotousa.com site, but I couldn't find a listing for Kaiser Jeep, AM General, or REO. I also checked for Military, Kia, Ssangyong, & Bombardier (licensed foreign makers of the Deuce) and found nothing. These look like a great idea, but sure don't...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Stormy Weather Down Under G'day Mate, Do you have any land where you could put up a metal building to keep & work on your Deuce?

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Why not get a big tarp & some poles & setup a pavilion over your engine bay? That should allow an oil change. 😊

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Found this online. Not a Deuce axle, but it helps explain how the floating axle works. https://youtu.be/_aVj7JSpSpU

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Limo duty at the wedding on the 6th went very well. The bride was ecstatic, the bridesmaids enjoyed it, & mother of the bride (AZ Congresswoman Debbie Lesko - in black hat) even had fun. My wife (waving by the truck) is my spotter & I'm very thankful as she gave her blessing in 2016 to get the...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

At least you can walk your bed without walking like the Hunchback of Notre Dame. My back kills me after having to work with my top on as the bows are great for sitting, but not for standing. The big issue I would think for you would finding a top that big to cover those. Best of luck though.
