Be careful with any of those Chinese chains. They can be very dangerous. They break rather easily! Beware. My friend was almost seriously hurt by one while lifting a motor.........the welds are sketchy at best.
1 more thing.......is there a way to delete old threads like this once you have no longer a need for it, so as to clear up some space? Or just let it fall by the way side.

I just replaced all my duece mud flaps with 5 ton ones. Tthere is a small reinforced hole on the bottom of the flap. I realize it is to chain them. My question is why? and where would they get chained to. I had to do a little fabbing to make them fit but nothing major, and they look a lot better...

Well I am glad to see that winter does not deter the use of most MV owners. I know that should we have another hurricane in my area again mine will def. see use as an extra rescue vehicle. Can't wait for winter, hopefully this year we will get some snow!! I still have not gotten a really good...
I think that i read somewhere that the D also has thicker decks, or heads or something to that effect. Not exactly positive but I seem to remember reading it on this site somewhere.
you have a very good point. But I have a huge Masons parking lot 30 feet from my house and I play around in that, not much on the street. So salt not an issue.
