Can some one please help me out? My 1986 M1009 won't start. I went out yesterday to take a drive and the truck won't start. I have good batteries (all lights work), but for some reason it seems like no power is getting to the starter, or the starter is stuck. It doesn't make any clicking noises...
I believe the reason there is a difference between the front and rear shackles is for when air lifting the vehicle (to help stabilization during flight). If I emember Air Assault schooling correctly (probably not it has been 30 years or so, lol).

Just picked up a 1009 last week. After getting her home found that she needed a complete brake job, including new hoses. While I was at it she got new tires also. Still has a few little issues to be addressed, But she runs fantastic!
