Thanks m38inmaine. I’ve shared this on MVPA and M35A2 on Facebook.

Found the PDF of the bill... Proof of demilitarization? Plates issued to vehicles not exceeding 10,000 pounds? I don’t like this at all. https://legislature.maine.gov/bills/getPDF.asp?paper=SP0176&item=1&snum=131

Do you have a link for the hearing? There are a handful of HMV owners that I am aware of on the mid coast. Hopefully we can escape the BS that others experience in their states.

I am really hoping we can escape the horror stories I’ve read of folks in other states. Do you have a link to the meeting?

Taking a break from rust today. Beautiful weather today for March in Maine. Instrument cluster detailing. Wet sanded and polished the gauge faces. They came out nicely. Gauge panel, bezels and lamp covers painted. No over spray on the Z28 either!

Where to send fuel injectors for service?

I did mine myself. No shops in my area in Maine. Bought a Chinese pop tester. Cobbled together an adapter based on info from SS posts. I believe I bought shim kits and silicone seals from White Owl. Mine weren’t super dirty so the nozzles cleaned up well after soaking.

Christmas! My steel order showed up today from MetalsCut4U. Really nice precise bends just how I ordered it. Packaged very well also. I’ll start some bed fabrication this weekend. Out comes the plasma cutter again.

Rockers are finished and prepped with paint where the fenders meet. Fenders are back on so I can paint them in place. Left them spaced out where they meet the cab so I can install the anti squeak strip later. Same in the front. Left the rubber isolators out for now. I’m happy with the progress...

Started on the bed this week. The stake pockets have been removed and hat channel material has been ordered. Probably could replace the bed for what I’ll have into repair but trying to keep it all original.

The fenders are in great shape with one little rust section on the forward edge of the RH fender. I also replaced the stiffener braces with new flat stock. I left the dents in the front corners for character!

    My first multifuel?

Keep it coming. This has been a great project to follow! Everything looks awesome.

Thanks! The rockers are from Memphis Equipment. Very well formed. The old man won’t let me paint it inside next to his ‘71 Z28 though!
