Need Help With a Lack of Power Issue

Thanks Armytruck63, I'll have to pick one up. I only have one for a gas engine. After I ironed out all the other issues that arose at the same time as the power loss, I took a look at the exhaust smoke color and if the anti-freeze and oil had mixed. They hadn't, so I figured my head gaskets...

Need Help With a Lack of Power Issue

I hope someone can help me. Here’s the story. I have an 84 M1028 with 8700 original miles. I was towing an empty M105 1½ ton trailer up and down some hilly terrain. I lost power going up a hill and started to blow a lot of white smoke. The truck stalled and I couldn’t get it to start for...

    CUCV Surveillance Truck

I'm using an older CF-28. It will only be used for programing radios. The lower rack is set up with a newer computer to serve as a DVR. The shelter is one big faraday cage, so I counldn't use WIFI even if I wanted to. The radio antennas will be mounted outside on a shorter mast for reception.

    CUCV Surveillance Truck

The truck has numerous uses, as of now it is still in the testing phase with three different software programs. I have contracts set up with two local law enforcement agencies and a border group that will use it has a platform to test their equipment. Law enforcement will use it to monitor...

    CUCV Surveillance Truck

I have been to Jack's and he is a hard guy to get to sell anything. He won't separate things either. I did find a swivel post and new tractor seat at a shop in town. Thanks though.

    CUCV Surveillance Truck

The mast does rotate down and is flush with the rear. The mast undeployed sits about 5 feet above the box and will raise 30 feet.

    CUCV Surveillance Truck

The solid panel to the left rear of the picture is where most of the radios will go. Right below that will be a bank charger of radios and a telescoping mount for the Toughbook. I am also looking for an acft crew seat for the operator. I have a bunk cushing for the bunk being made as well. Tough...

    CUCV Surveillance Truck

Sure is, we were out with it this weekend. All was good until the generator ran out of fuel in the middle of the night....The shelter turned into an icebox box in the span of an hour and a half. Won't make that mistake again.

I have two weeks off for Christmas, so I plan to finish installing the trucks AC. I just have the under hood stuff to finish, and the head liner with...

No, that was the first thing I looked for. I also seached the two electrical panels hoping there was a schematic. No such luck.

    S-250 Shelter Power Receptical Question

glassk Thanks for the TM's. I have these two plus the A/C TM and none of them address the power distribution. I think I will try to work backwards and locate TM's on the different military gen sets. Maybe I can figure it out by the gen set outputs. I'm also going to spend alot of time...

Just did a 2 inch lift, new tires and rims, front and rear driveshafts (front was missing and rear was bent) restored the interior and added A/C, need it here in the desert. The shelter has a 30 foot telescoping boom on it. We added a single bunk and installed two racks of equipment for a...
