Hi Willie, someone posted this link over on halftrackinfo. I have good use for that hammer they had. It would be to hit both those 2 numb nuts in the head. What a shame!

The tracks are a banded rubber track with steel cables and clamps. The dicussion is now moving toward reality, a manufacture in china who also makes sherman tracks. Also possibly weasel tracks. Check my link and see. We are taking about a container load comming back to the states. The more...
What Frank said, Gary is out, so is Vector Arms. There has been some discussion about the molds that are suppose to still be in Israel and for sale. (not confirmed) So we hope that some thing will come through or there will be alot halftracks as yard art.

It appears that the supply of tracks for US halftracks has pretty much dried up. There is a heavy discussion over on the G503 forum about looking into after market at a reasonable cost . If any one has some thoughts or contacts we would sure like to know...
Made some more progress. The little things just take time but it will be worth it. Got the doors hung so I could tighten up the B-pillar, you have to build from the center out. Soon as I get mobile I'll move it over to the other shop so I can get welding on the floor,
Stay tuned!

Got the cowl mostly done. I to drop it on next week got some more items done on the chassis. Next big project is the radiator. The detail stuff just takes time.

Well a couple of more items and I'll have the cowl complete. I wanted a break from the cowl so went over to the shop and installed the new exhaust system from Kevin Lockwood. It is a thing of beauty but boy what tight fit:twisted:
Here's some shots of the install
