Will sorry to hear what happened to you that sucks. I hope you find your parts. I took my 5 ton out on it's first road trip. It ran well although my steering...
Took a break from working on my halftrack and finished hooking up my M52A2 up to my goose neck trailer. Built a box with relays for the 12volt lighting and used a battery equalizer for the 12v tap. Did electric trailer brakes and all. Fun project! Don G.
Just an FYI while you have it down that far, take out the adjustment screw for the big center pully and inspect it. We had one of those let go climbing a 10% grade out some little german town with a D-7 on the trailer. When the screw snaped we lost our steering and anything else the ran on that...
Well got some more big stuff done on the track. Decided to sit my floor on the track to see what it would look like. Then we stuck the engine and trans back in:mrgreen: We moved it out side in the sun and got a good picture. I needed a little alone time with my track when we got done:doghead...
Well still been having trouble with the truck not starting. Did find the clip on the linkage rod was missing. Is this an e-clip? Anyway got a temporary fix for now. Don G.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! You hit it right on the money. Pulled the cover plate and the lever was at about 5 oclock. Got it freed up and put the cover back on. She lit right off and ran. Back moving again. Thanks for everyone for chiming in. Thanks again Don
Thanks for the replies, I'll check those items and let you know. I have one question do I have to worry about timing when I remove that cover?
Also I apologize for the cross post, I was up very late when I wrote the first one and was kind of nodding off. I didn't realise I had already posted...
Fuel Problem M52A2
Hey I could use some help. My 5 ton was a little hard to start a couple weeks a go. I drove it round and it ran fine so I parked it. Went out to start it Saturday and no start. It cranks over fine. So I checked the fuel stop and it appears to be retracting fine. I checked the...
Hey Guys I need some advice. My M52A2 was running fine then about a week ago it I was really hard starting. But once it fired it ran fine. Anyway long story short, I parked it then went to start it yesterday and it turns over fine it just won't start. I checked to make sure the fuel stop was all...

Yep it's been pretty quiet. Tower Park has become annual for me. I hang around with a bunch of Jeep guys. I won't have a s much money to spend on parts at the flea market but I don't want to miss it. Too much fun!
