While I do NOT have all my TM's printed out, I do have a lot of books. Eleven floor to ceiling bookcases, most four feet wide, two under window bookcases five feet wide, and over 100 'Bankers Boxes' of books that I don't have bookshelves for. Plus another 50+ books waiting to be put into...
You could also make a video (with sound please) of the startup of the problem burner and post it here. I'm not the only one who has coaxed these units into behaving properly and having several sets of eyes and ears observing what you are experiencing may very well get you answers that are 'not...
Amps and volts are different things, you need to measure each one using different settings on your meter. A long time ago there was a military wire chart posted on this site that explained exactly what wire number was used for on ALL military equipment, so when you found wire number xx it would...
I brushed on the Rustoleum RMP on the bed of a cargo deuce and let it dry 72 hours, then put a coat of the BEHR paint on it. After three years of cargo and people about 20 percent of the green paint is gone, but the Rustoleum is keeping any rust at bay. YMMV.
If you are going to use the existing six ceiling lights, I would suggest getting some high temp gloss white spray paint, take off the glass bezels, remove the bulb, block off the screw socket with some newspaper, and get a good coat on the reflector. That will give you almost twice as much...
I too am a paid member and have never seen anything like that here. Nor has it shown up (so far) when I do searches in general. Please send a screen shot of whatever inappropriate material you do find.
Vietnam era MUTT's would have an RT-524 and sometimes also an R-442 to listen on another channel/frequency. IE RT = receiver-transmitter, R = receiver. There is also an RT-246 that has 10 preset channels/frequencies that needs an external speaker because of the preset controls. Battalion...
ER01 No Flame or flameout
See troubleshooting procedure “Burner fails to start or shuts down during operation.”
That tells you to go to WP - 0009 which starts a couple of pages later. Follow the instructions, there are 12 steps to go through.
Just as an aside, you can hold in the start...
You need to find an old thread by mdmorgan when they re-did the interior of a 109 to make a camper. Complete with foam insulation in the ceiling/walls and taking the driveline out of the rear pumpkin so they would have a larger water tank.
There was a 'group buy' of about 20-40+ of them about 5-8 years ago, try doing a search for "Chinese HH group" and see if the search can find it. Should have the model number and manufacturer.
The frame should consist of three "M" pieces, three cross pieces, and 10 purlins. To add a second tent, making it 16 x 32, you need another tent section, two more "M" pieces, two more cross pieces and 10 more purlins. To make them really nice inside you need the floor sections and the white...
Coker Tires in Chattanooga, TN sells DUKW/Goat tires, check with them to see if they can recommend something. Didn't the Goat have tubeless tires? if so, you may be looking for a unicorn!
Come to the VA Rally over the Labor Day weekend (see Graves Mountain Trail Rides - or contact @CGarbee on this site) for details. Bring money! I have mounts and antennas that I can bring. Two of the -524's I got from Pvt Jarhead five or six years ago, others are untested. I'll probably keep...
I have never had anyone ask me if I had an amateur license when I bought radios in person or by mail. On new stuff there was usually something from the manufacturer stating a license was required, but never with any of the military surplus radios I've ever purchased. Long time ago I had a -68...
