There is lots of info on glow plugs, the mythical non-swelling GPs, how to test them, etc. in here: https://gear-report.com/help-hmmwv-wont-start-humvee-glow-plug-start-system-maintenance/
How I resurrected a few old HMMWV batteries that wouldn't take a charge from my "smart charger" is listed in here. https://gear-report.com/humvee-upgrade-best-hmmwv-batteries
I was a USAF loadmaster that loaded and airdropped HMMWVs. We were told that we were NOT to use the wheel brackets as tie down points at all! We could only use the frame mounted tie down points at the front and rear of the HMMWV.
This attached diagram shows how the wheel mounted points are...

My bigger concern is what is killing your pumps!
Sounds like time to thoroughly flush the PS system and look for any clues as to what is killing them. I ran a parts store pump on my m1038 with no issues. So, I suspect it isn't the pumps causing your issues.
Thanks.
Did you go with LED bulbs in the conventional sockets?
I switched to LED replacement fixtures on both of my HMMWVs and have been thrilled. The difference in visibility is amazing.
Um. What?
I've put immense blood sweat and tears into this truck over the past year. Unfortunately, business priorities have changed and I can't justify keeping this business asset at this time. I'm not remotely happy about it.
How does joking about the buyer being worthy mean I'm not a good...
Strictly a business asset management decision right now. Too much $ tied up in one asset.
I'm still very interested in MVs and see a place for one in my business. I expect that another is in my future, at some point. 😎
lol. I get a kick out of this type of comment.
I had tan doors on the original Battlewagon for a while and it drove some folks NUTS.
Personally... I liked it because it was visually distinctive. ie. it made my truck stand out. It is a marketing truck. I have it to get attention for my brand...
Lots more done the past few days. The biggest two were...
Installed the Turret
Installed the Ibis Tek Low Profile Protective front bumper
And other stuff... https://gear-report.com/p/6cb
The Ibis Tek spare tire carrier with freshly fabricated mounting brackets should be delivered today. :)
I think this list actually makes a great checklist for buying a HMMWV as well.

For the headlights, like Bill said, check voltage. But I believe the correct voltage is at or slightly above 28v, not under 28v.
The grounding harness folks mentioned is easy to make:

For the starting issue, there is a lot...
Does anyone have pictures and/or dimensions for the mounting bracket for the Ibis Tek MASTC-C spare tire carrier?
The guy I'm getting this from is going to fab the brackets as part of our deal, but doesn't have a set to use as templates. Thanks!
Got one of the dome lights apart to reconnect the power cable.
Won't install it until after the turret goes back in.
Started fabbing mounting brackets for the Ibis Tek Low Profile Protective Front Bumper.
