B3.3T,
sorry, you did not catch the last correction. Of course it it is a Centurion (based on the latin exprsion for a leader of a centurie, means 100 slodiers) and a Swedish type S, which is called in Sweden a Streetwagen 101, S for Streetwagen (fighting car or carriage, 101 is the type...
O.K., I checked them all and try to give the correct names to all the pics.
Starts with
#1 Seems to be a Mark VII or Mark VIII from the relics of WWI.
#2 seems to be a Buffalo or an Aligator
#3 semms to be a Mark VII or Mark VIII (see #1)
#4 is a T72
#6 is a Koenigstiger (King Tiger)
#8 also
#9...
OK, I do not work on this modern stuff. So I did not catch that change. I think, that is an acceptable excuse. The Ford truck I had to deal with so far was the standard 8 bolt pattern.

By the way, GM inverted the 7 pin recepticale new, beside there is an ISO standard on that. Only GM used...
How to start?
Papabear, the half track you took on your picture seems to be a 5 ton Buesing, of which I know only one other existing.
The Koenigstiger (King Tiger) (pic 5 and 8 uses the late rubber saving road wheels. I know only very little King Tigers existing, one at Saumur (F) in running...
A gallon should be enough to do the job with some spare for unexpected trouble. DOT 4 or DOT 5 is fine, however DOT 5 is to modern for the truck.
However, I would rebuild all wheel cylinders before as well as the master cylinder befor I would do it. That avoids brake problems for a longer time...
number 9,
it is not only the 8 bolt GM pattern, it is also used by Ford, Chrysler for it is a US standard pattern.
To add something: The tire size should be 235/85R16 LR E for the M116A2.
The M103 / M105 trailers use 9.00-20 tires.

M37 series is not availlable. Seems not interesting enough for the manuafactures. The rumors of AFV were about the former Tomy molds, which later landed at Airfix, now at Italerie. And they still stay there, sometimes they make some thousand models for the world as a remake. Also M-series Trucks...
According to the 10 feet of manuals and several CD the LDS-465-1, -1A, -2 should be 5 ton truck engines. The LD-465-1, - 1C, LDT-465-1C should be 2 1/2 to truck engines.
The given powers are the netto rated horse powers. The manual talks always of 135 to 140 gross hp, for the 5-tons of 200 to...
Hallo Kyle,
I think now your fuel pump problem is not based on the Ethanol, however may be on poor lubricating somewere. So an old trick is to add oil as mentioned above. However the expensive stuff is not neccessary. 1 gal oil on 100 gals of gas is sufficient. The cheepest engine oil will work...
I used RS 5000 for 14 years, no problems, nice riding, however with highter TP like 350 kPa instead of 290 kPA as given in the label on the door. Highter TP lowers tire wear (60000+ miles on a set of tires is not to bad) certain level and reduces fuel consumption a little.

Accordng to TM 9-2330-202-14&P the axle load is 2640 lbs or 1198.6 kg.
Technically the axle should be good for 4400 lbs or 2000 kg with the propper tires. The overrun brake head is good for 6000 lbs. You will find that on the left side of the housing stamped in the sheet metal.

To my infmation the Pinz with the 2.4 l Turbo Diesel engine is to the max at emmission level Euro 2 (truck emmission). This might not be very helpfull for the states, it is measured different than EPA test cicles.
My father used a 244D6 Volvo for 18 years and almost 300000 km or 187500 miles...
You may change to other tire sizes than the original 9.00-16 with tube, however, the tube is mandantory. If you do not stick to the original tread, something like 255/100 R 16 (Michelin, very expensive) or 265/85R16 or 285/85 R 16 or 285/80 R16 is usable or a 34 inch tire which is useable for 16...
There should be a little sheet metal strip below the parking brake just below the transmission cover sheet metal were it is spot welded to the lower part of the body. This about 3 inch long and 1 inch wide sheet metal carrys the serial number. However, very often this piece is gone due to...
In addition to the above said: Did you check Gen 1 for propper ground contact? If ground is not propper, Gen 1 light might stay on even with propper working gen (just from experiance).Wolf
The cable is of the weight it need to be to start anything from a CUCV to a M1 tanks, good for 1000 Amperes. And useually the Army of any staate of this world makes no difference between these vehicles.
I owne one too, however I never measured the lenght. It simply works when needed. And with...
All above arguments are more or less correct to the individual use. However, there is one little thing, all of you did not take in consideration. The shifter forks run on a shaft, that moves them. The shafts are keept in position by a little ball made of steel. This ball is pressed into the...
