That would get my vote, or some heavy duty tools for the deuce, do you have an axle socket or air compressor wrenches yet?
You probably have a grounded spot in the wire that runs down the steering column from the horn button. A lot of them get really roughed up where they leave that center shaft and turn towards the horn. Glen
I ran 70 front and 45 rear on dual G-177s. I did not see any heating of tires or premature wear. I pulled them and went to Michelin XLs as they seem to pull better in our muddy yard. The Goodyears were a lot nicer to drive at slower speeds and I think they will out live the Michelins. We are...
I thought they were all cable drive...
We have two beat up 813s for you to drool over now. One has frame extensions for a winch, maybe the shift lever parts as well. ELMO!! 8)
We still have lots full of trucks at Riley, parked bumper to bumper, mirror to mirror, row after row. A lot of 800s still, but they are rough!! Most of the 939 series trucks we have been seeing have fluids drained. For some reason, draining fluids also includes the removal of the air filter and...
Hopefully that hitch is not hauling a heavy load in the trailer. Without brakes and adding that much leverage to the hitch, I would be afraid of failure. Ready thread or threaded rod is just not the same as a graded bolt. It is much better than what one of our local iron haulers uses on his 105!
The only ones I successfully bought were on a contract with a customer. He bought two and they were about 7,300 each. They were really nice trucks, but that is way too high for us to buy.
Two stroke gas with water? Editing to add that on another thread I read where somebody added two stroke fuel from a boat that had water in it. The water is a huge issue... I went back and looked, it was not you. Glen
I spin them first to make sure they have quiet bearings, then I take them to an alternator shop to be tested. I get 150 shipped to the US. There is a classified for them in the parts for sale.
I would try mechanical removal before drilling, if you do drill, use a reverse ground bit so if it catches the bolt, it backs the bolt out instead of driving it farther in. No sense making a bad deal worse....
