    (YOUR) Deuce colors....

Check sig. I have an olive green with a tan top... may give you an idea of the color contrast.

    Ever had one get away?

Not an MV, but I missed a 1988 Lotus Esprit Turbo with 24K miles a couple years ago. Insurance wasn't going to be very expensive, either. $18k and I had a trade that I would have gotten money back from.

    Receiver hitch for a deuce

http://www.etrailer.com/pc-weld-on-hitch~41990-07.htm I was looking at this for a while... if you're up for welding, might be worthwhile?

    M819---M270

I think Jason@snakedriver has 14.00's on his 819/270 combination... Personally, I love the look of the 12.00's. They're a good size, and they look good in duals.

David, time can certainly get away from you; I know how that goes. My daughter is almost 1 already, and starting to walk. ALFA2, welcome to the site! This may be the last update on the truck for a while; I've bought an older camper I'm fixing up. It will be getting a mil-themed exterior and...

That rig looks awesome! What are the plans for it, Dave? Also, what size tires come on the trailer? Looks killer!

Pulled up the old basket ball goal in our driveway. It was rusted and the backboard was missing. The thing put up a good fight! When I snugged the chain in low range and 1st, the front wheels started to pull off the ground until the base of concrete finally broke.

    Bees - Ouch....

I've had good luck as well keeping a couple house spiders in my cab. They set up webs on the mirrors and inside around the floorboards. Not had any bug problems.

    Quiet cab?

RE: Re: Quiet cab? I'd recommend putting some 3M insulating tape along the edges of the hood panels, as well as most anything else that opens and closes. It really does well to get rid of rattles while driving. I can't stand rattles, even on a 40-year-old MV.

    Quiet cab?

I'll second the windshield trick. Although, I just like driving with the door windows down... I'm one of those "drive with one elbow out" people.

Where do you get your WMO/Transmission fluid?

Everywhere around here is reluctant to give the stuff to Joe Blow because of EPA regs. All the shops say they have to show on paper where the stuff goes, and they have to sell/dispose to a reputable disposal company. What gives? Perhaps I should look in to becoming a non-profit "LLC" or...

    Cummins 5.9L in a Deuce?

Look up Hot Rod Deuce and look at his rig. He's got a crew-cab deuce on 16.00-20's with a 5.9 cummins running around 300 hp. He seems to be pretty satisfied with the power - he does off-road it. Read back through some of his posts. Edit: Keep in mind that the ISB Cummins (5.9L) has been used...

    Whistler turbo vs. Non-whistler turbo

You most likely have a "D." Pop the hood and check the way the the turbo's exhaust side looks. This thread shows the difference between the two.

How long have you had your Deuce???

October 27, 2007. Hard to believe it's been almost a year already!
