    Login issues?

Is there a timeout for being logged in currently? I have only been logged in for a few minutes (20 maybe?), and I've had to log back in again. Also, I have my login/pw fields auto-filled so I just have to click login on my end, but I received an error message saying "I have used one login...

I'm back and have another Deuce

Hey! I'm in the Tri-Cities area. Dunno how much help I can be, though.

GL ads disappeared...did I miss something?

I'm sure you guys have, but... Have you considered marketing some ad space toward some different companies... something relevant but perhaps not MV-specific? Northern Tools, for example, is a place I frequent much more often now that I have the truck.

    Reciever on deuce

Unfortunately, doesn't work well with the Curt hitch. Took me about 30 minutes just to line it up right and get it to stay put!

Air Outlet for air tools etc.

That sounds about right. I know it's not a 3/8"

Air Outlet for air tools etc.

I've always heard the gladhand has higher volume? The feed line to the outlet under the dash is awfully small...

Air Outlet for air tools etc.

You are correct, it is a standard fitting. However, to run the big stuff, you may not get high enough CFM. That being said, I added one to mine, and I have a coiled air hose that stays connected now. The best of both worlds would be to have one in the cab, and another hose with a gladhand...

    Bought a M332 - opps!

My mistake... after looking at the "silver-tip" ammo I found, it was civilian Sellier & Bellot imported from the Czech republic. Normal surplus silver-tip was $75-100 for 4-600 rounds.

    Bought a M332 - opps!

You have... Czech silver tip? That stuff goes for close to $1.00 a round in some places! I have heard that it is exceptionally accurate, though. I'm beginning some work on my 1942 Izzy Mosin this week.

Please help, HMMWV Trailer light/power conversion

I thought HMMWV's had dual-volt alternators anyways? Something about 12 volts for the transmission controller? There should be a way to tap off of that system.

    Poor Goat

Oh my... I apologize for that one guys... you can't ever tell who has been using a public computer at hotels. rofl

    Poor Goat

Looks like parts are readily available: http://www.agkits.com/browseproducts/Detroit-Diesel-353--6V53-(OE--5199811)-Cylinder-Head-Set.HTML Head gasket kit is only $32.00 :D BTW, I caught your build thread for your goat. Amazing job there! You should add a turbo! Or is there not much room...

    XM757 progress

Are you going to try to stick with NDT's for tires? Or are you going to try for an OTR tire? Looking great!

GL Using the best SEABEE Truck

I think I'd have to put in a set of lights in the stock location... even if I used the ones in the bumper as the primary lights. It just looks weird. But I wouldn't kick it out of bed for eating crackers.

    Latest Acquisition: M923 (pics)

Looks to be in good shape... definitely a nice find! Those tires look way too small for the truck, though

    Does airshift affect speed/power?

Perhaps the sprag trucks have the FDC bypassed? This would account for the extra power, and is more common than an upped fuel rate straight out of surplus.

Also added a couple proximity worklights, and an air chuck for air tools.
