I have to say I am really torn on what I would prefer but am prolly leaning more towards Helen... Its a proven site, it has all of the amenties you could (or could not) want and there is something to be said about being able to amuse the other half by taking her around to see the sites, Helen...

I wouldn’t convert it ether... A 24V starter handles the 6.2La lot better than a 12V making them far more dependable (my opinion) and when using a 24V gear reduced unit, forget it, the starter will outlast the truck!!! It really isn’t any...

No sand!!!!! It crushes and grinds as soon as you put pressure on it then comes right off making a mess you cant get rid of... use aluminum oxide!!! Order it from www.mscdirect.com (look under sand blasting supplies)

CC is correct, you would need to install 2 12V units to charge the truck correctly...
Incorrect... the truck runs on 12V and starts on 24V
Ditto on that... I cut my tube off and put on a rubber hose due to so many bugs loving the neat little steel tubing of a home they kept finding!!!

Your problem is more than likely a leaking axle seal pushing gear oil out of the axle, into knuckle, mixing it with grease, then leaking past the king pin (square flange your talking about).
Check your axle vent first to...
