I've never seen anyone make / sell them but from what I know of wheel and axle measurments by the time you bolt spacers on to a 2.5 ton axle to run 5 ton combat wheels you would be so far over DOT width limits you wouldnt fit into a highway lane let alone a city street. (which is prolly why you...
Jkob,
Not to bash what you are saying but I see this said fairly often… The problem is the term "affordable"... Knowing what it takes to manufacture wheels... Most guys cannot afford the hardware it takes to assemble the wheels let alone the whole wheel assy... Cost on one OEM A3 wheels type...
Who needs enemies when I have you guys you encourage my spending habbits!!!
*sigh*... tempting.. tempting.. tempting...
Anyone think my dad would miss his deuce if I cut it up for axles, replacment sheetmetal motor swap and the likes? *evil grin*
Kenny... I hate you I hate you I hate you!!!! You know better! Im to dumb to stop myself!!!
So... When I get done making 50 phone calls to find axles... When we gonna recover this? rofl
I have blue in mine... I prefer it to the red and it matches my light switch, it works just as well as red with NVG's plus you can tell colors apart with blue moreso than red... Blood for example is very hard to see in red light. I think this is why they changed the color of the dome lights used...
Bjorn be careful aiming the LED's so their not in your eyes in the driving position... they get quite annoying! I wrapped the rear of my guage cluster with reflective material to help the lighting as well as keep the underside of the dash from glowing like a christmas tree!

RE: Re: RE: airpaks
Yep, same kit as long as they both have steel cans on the back they use the same kit, or a varation of 2-3 diffrent kits that are on the market...
PN 8345007 NSN 2530-00-040-2190 is the better of the bunch as it uses a viton air piston seal v/s the older design kits with...
RE: M35A2 wiring harness
It would come close to working but would be to short across the front of the truck... Memphis should have them as they make their own harnesses, not cheap but new stuff for old trucks never is.
Ditto on most things but I don’t think I would have that radiator patched, in looking at the pic someone has already done some home grown patch work on the shroud as well as the upper tank... Prolly time to call that one "done" and get a replacement. Check with Matt at Green Gem 386-364-4669, he...
RE: M35A2 wiring harness

RE: repainting
For you guys that want to get paint mixed locally here is a color break down of FS color codes. You should be able to get these mixed at any industrial or automotive supplier… (that doesn’t include Homies or Lowes)
Federal Standard FS.595a/595B
The example of the FS number...
RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: Ending prices not shown on G
I would be emailing Becky Bellinger with the DRMO in Battle Creek... She handles GL's contracting with the DRMO... If anyone needs to be hearing this stuff it’s her and your congressional reps! If you write your rep, outside of the...
I have had really good luck with the following two primer types from MS (sold at Napa)... I’ve also been using a lot of Sherman Williams products in the past two years as they seem to be one of the few companies that have the ability to provide flattening agents on a consistent basis.
This...
Buy new ones... Cut the over hanging rubber gasket from around the glass, tape a 1/4 gap and fill the edge where the rubber was removed with windshield sealant (note: this is not a time to substute with silicone)... This will keep your new frames from rotting away!
Also, im running a 10% off...
