I have an amber strobe convoy light I could get rid of. It's on my parts deuce, and mounts to the back of the deuce cab. It also telescopes up and down, so you don't have to remove it to get into a garage or some other low clearance building.

If you do, do an offroad video, can you get both rear axles in the video frame shot. It would be cool to see the tandoms working togather over rough terrain.
When I bobbed mine, I made the spring perches out of 1 1/4" x 2 1/2" solid steel. I Drilled a hole for the spring center pin and welded them to the axle.
I think I do have just one spring perch.

I don't know about the springer seat history, so I can't help you there. But if you don't end up using the springer seat, I'd be more than happy to do some sort of trading for my box seat.
