    bobbing a m923?

If you already have the truck, and no longer need it. Go for it, I'd do it.

    Axle swap

People have installed thousands, and thousands of Rockwell top-loader axels into other vehicles, that they were never designed for. It's a simple axle design, that adapts well to other applications. If you are mechanically inclined, I don't see the M211 swap much different.

looking 4 a part for parking brake

I could see a response like that from an angry purist, that would never change or add anything, but what does it hurt? I had two of them on hand at the time, I figured why not. Two springs fit on the studs, under the c-clips without modification. It gives you that extra reassurance that the...

looking 4 a part for parking brake

When I installed a new set of parking brake shoes last fall, I put in two of the #39 springs you are talking about. Worked good for me.

46 vs 53 inch tires on a bobbed deuce?

The biggest thing I noticed with putting the 53's on the Deuce was, I now use first gear when taking off from a dead stop. It turns first gear into a normal usable gear, instead of being such a "creeper gear" It works out quite well in that manner. Fith gear is more slugish with the 53's...

46 vs 53 inch tires on a bobbed deuce?

Did you get the 46's out of Zeeland? I seen a set of five of them over there a while back.

    lowering deuce m105 wheel wells

I like the fender mod, it looks more natural with the fronts now. When you bobbed the truck, how come you chose such a large gap between the cab and the box?

    16.5 9.75 steel wheels

Recovery4X4, Them rims/wheels you seek are off 3/4 & 1 ton "Camper Special" equiped trucks from the 60's and 70's. I come across them from time to time.

    Welding On My Truck

I'd make sure you ground to nice clean metal. Grind a spot down for the ground clamp when welding on a vehicle. If you clamp to crud, rust, paint or just plain dirty metal, the welding current will have "search" for the ground at the bad connection, and this is when things can get fried.

    Dual Exhaust For Deuce

I very much like it. Your weld where the y-pipe intersects, looks good too... nice job.

    I bought one!

I'd make another cut, just like you did, but 180 deg opposite from the first cut. Knock it off it two pieces/halves.

    Off-road flatbed trailer with singles

Nice trailer. it resembles my Miller dual tandem 10-ton. They pull nice, you'll like it. In picture #3, What is that sticking down, between the passanger side leafspring and the differential on your front axle? I never seen that before.

    Lifting a Bobbed Deuce

The steps on the truck measure 36" off the ground. It's a little much, especially for the wife. Today, I bent up some 1" 316 stainless tube for some drop step hoops. I made them to drop 10", and put an offset bend in them as well, to bring the step out some instead of just straight down. Now...
