Fuse as close to source as possible, otherwise wiring/connections frequently sacrifice themselves in fire under high current draw to save the life of the fuse.
I put in an order with LCI back in September. Received part of the order - twice - they sent a return label no problem, but I never got the jerry cans. In December, I contacted my CC/bank and said, hey, I never got these. Within days, I had a refund for 2 “cans” and shipping.

there are diesel fuel return lines from the injectors you can disconnect and see if fuel's coming out of them or if it's another problem.
I only know this because mine were so damaged they leaked all over the engine while it was running when I first got it.

Alternator should be putting out north of 24 volts. Could be alternator, regulator, PCB would be last on my list of concerns.
Go back to the troubleshooting section on testing alternaotr, but clean up your connections/terminals first, check grounds.

Um, not really. There’s a kit, #57K3520 that supplies all the parts you’ll need for the alternator update. It uses a different bracket, LONG bolt, much heavier duty cable to the + (pos) stud in the battery box, and more.

Does anyone have GOOD, solid, data on what range of EGTs (and measured from what point in the exhaust system) are NORMAL for stock/OEM 6.2L DT, NA, TD engines and, likewise for the same of 6.5L series engines AS ISSUED TO MILITARY use.
