Getting ready for the cross country trip and the AC will not be ready... Decided to tint the windows to help keep the heat in the cab down.

Yes. Trucks come with switches already installed but most trucks just have the plug on the back of the cab capped off.
NOTE - you have to turn on the headlight switch for the beacon toggle switch to have power!!!!

Ok folks. After searching for a year I finally got a light-side plug for the female plug on the back of the cab. Will have my avionics guys at work get me the specs on this thing and post the findings here. Time for strobes and a disco ball...

i wish it would break 10mpg! This is a C7 truck. I would really like to see someone put an 8.3 cummins in one of the 3116 trucks. Would break 10 mpg for sure.

Hey folks. Headed to Denver from Houston in the 330hp LMTV with highway gears and cruise control. Have the Bullydog Warchdog module plugged in for eng temp, Trans temp, MPG and RPM. Running GPS to record miles.

trans temp - 220 constant
eng temp - 197 to 204. Fan activates at 204...
I frequently run 6x6 and 4x4 mil trucks in soft sand (ankle to calf deep). The 4x4 trucks do fine. The 6x6 trucks often "buck" on the rear axles as they pivot. A set of shocks to stabilize the free movement of the axles pivoting about the center mount stops this.
As for the LMTV...
