The part number for the selector hubs is 11167-01. I have them on my truck (HERE is some pics and info) I will say that I like the look of them and the low profile as they don't stick out near as far as the other 2 brands. Last time I checked the price on the selectro's, they were more than the...
So besides the standard 1-3/8" bore wheel cylinders, and the larger 1.5" diameter wheel cylinders used on the front axle of the M35a3 trucks, there is also a 1.75"diameter wheel cylinder that may fit (it may be a little too fat though and possibly rub against the shoe return spring. I'm not...
Just saw this thread while I was looking for something else. In case anyone else stumbles across this thread because they have the left over cup seal shown also, it is for the piston push rod bushing assembly. Here is the rebuild TM courtesy of Rustystud...
Thanks for this info Rustystud. I'm rebuilding my 2 Long style airpacks that came off my 1988 deuce and they are like the ones on the right with the o-ring recess. Unfortunately my rebuild kit comes with no o-ring for these but rather the gasket for the one pictured on the left. I took these...
Air-O-Matic Air Assist Steering Instructions Scanned Blue Prints 12132493 & 12430289
Thanks Patracy. Looks like it doesn't let me post anything in the TM section so I'll try attaching them to this post and see what happens.
I've got a few unposted TMs related to the Deuce AIR-O-MATIC system from the Manufacturer (3 documents, PDF, 1.5mb total). What is the procedure for getting them added to our TM section? Can I just email them to someone, if so who? Thanks
Napa has a big selection of these metric drain plugs that will fit the flame heater holes.
My local napa had the following on the shelf:
m20x1.5.... Part # 7041046, & 7041070
m18x1.5.... Part # 7041385
Glad you are mobile again. Clay, I know you switched to the larger 1.5" wheel cylinders on the front which I did also. In my case I wasn't even able to get the drums back on the front hubs until I cut the slots in the brake shoe link pins deeper. Prior to that no amount of major or minor shoe...
Deucer, you are probably all done hooking up your air-o-matic but I just ran across this picture in one of the A3 TMs (TM9-2320-386-24P pdf page 270) while looking for something else. It sort of shows the exhaust routing that welldigger mentioned.
PM Sent (none left)
I don't have any additional pictures that I know of, just the ones here in POST 26 & 27 and POST 128 I'll try to get some more (sometime) as I probably get the most questions on the front bumper stuff. Pm me if you have any specific questions. Thanks
thats a good price on the link you provided. I bought one of these a year or 2 ago to try out, nice unit and it was a 2 speed. Only problem was it needed a really big hole in the windshield. I ended up not using it but would like to see someone try it. I think they have a smaller diameter shaft...
I bought some of these universal motors and modified the driver's side one so that it would park in the opposite position. The windings are specific to the voltage so there are not other voltage power taps inside unfortunately. Their is a gear inside with an arm riveted to it, you would need to...
I started to re-upholster the MRAP seats I got earlier. Originally I hoped to have it done, but the quotes I got ranged from $200-$300 per seat and that was with me supplying all the material! No way was I going to pay that so I decided to try it myself. I bought a few yards of some Foilage...
Sure, here are some pics... Looks like the one I got was marked "RELSP288 .222" as the part number although like you said there are several different part numbers. The unit did come with a rubber washer inside the female threaded part that I had to remove to make it fit correctly. (its the same...
