Blake you got it right! Work smarter not hard.
I find every way to not pick heavy stuff up.
Reason: hernia's are not cheap at 30k
And a month of not getting into your truck to drive.
ATF is ongoing debate.
My trucks will never have ATF I off road my trucks and ATF has a lower boiling point.
If you are going to keep her a highway queen pulling absolutely no heavy loads on hilly terrain then switch to ATF.
Deuce has single circuit brakes so compared to air brakes you don't have brakes or at the very least model t brakes.
There's no way I would ever go back to a deuce.
Lmtv or MTV way better cab dry warm way way better turning radius seems like my Ctis works way better. Spare tire way way easier to get down and change. I don't think I could go back to 939 series truck. Cab more comfortable and roomy.
I'm not trying to poke any hornets nest (Steve).
But who gives a crap about failure rate is over time.
I just want my doors to open.
If I am out in the middle of nowhere and it's 20 below I wouldn't care if the dang handle were made from pink to to's so long as they opened.
Just try the best you can with part price with the understanding that most of us have wife's or girl friends who think are trucks are mistress and not worth spending money on. Honey I need to spend 400 bucks on door handles won't fly in my house at least.
