FYI, if you go copper-nickel, 25 ft of each 3/16 and 1/4 is more then enough(I wager it would be close to 2 full trucks with a little left over) but this is how the lines should be, 1/4 from master straight back to rear axle(there is a union somewhere under the rear of the cab-to help when...
1952 Model 60 with a 14T, we also have a '46 "B", which does the tedding and the raking. Our conditioner and tedder are the only non-John Deere implements, both are New Hollands
I have never been a fan of electric gauges, So I like to run mechanical, I currently have a mechanical water gauge, working on getting a mechanical oil pressure gauge. I still like to keep things stock, especially on military vehicles, but it is always nice to see something off, then double...
loaded up the truck with hay from our field, only have one horse now, so we only got the one field, brought out 90 bales, probably another 5 or 6 tomorrow after re-raking. This is after all the intake exhaust work I did(still think it vapor locked on me, I stalled it and it failed to restart...
here is the video, going to pick up some hay bales with her now, probably be an 80 bale crop this year, we'll see how she does.

got it all back together, I did a quick carb clean-but still waiting for the rebuild kit-the truck started much faster, and warmed up almost 10 times faster- I literally started the truck went to check for exhaust leaks, tightened a couple bolts, then got back in the cab(less then 5 minutes...
I am getting a carb rebuild kit, hopefully by next week, as I always thought the carb as a whole was a little off- I never really rebuilt it, just cleaned it when I first got the truck going, and I didn't really get into the wealth of information that was available on here, till later.
Anyways...
Thanks, its good to hear the different design manifolds would bolt up,
I did talk to my dad about it, he thinks a piece of thin gauge stainless(for the heat) a full size piece of exhaust gasket, and stuff the void with fire braid(the rope stuff you put around a wood stove door to seal it), he...
I took apart my exhaust to fix a couple leaks(both end gaskets were completely blown out, center intake/exhaust gasket looked much newer, but also looked like it was on the verge of failing) and discovered that the heat valve for the bottom of the intake is gone, which makes me wonder if this...
My first though is all the syncros are shot, but you can look through the tech manuals and find the part that describes how to pull the top off the shifter, because another possibility is the shift forks are messed up. Either way I would say to pull the top cover is your next step.
Technically...
You need to check if the frame is twisted, I have seen them twist from overloading and some hard wheeling, this isn't always noticeable by visual inspection, the other thing would be to inspect cab mounts, but as it leans with the bed as well I would say it is not the cab mounts

Did your nv4500 come with a dampener? Should be right between tranny and transfer on tail shaft. My bet is because it came from a 94, it originally had a dual mass flywheel, and then when it got converted to a solid flywheel they didn't install a dampener. The dampener gets rid of the gear...
Turbo masters use spring pressure, so as exhaust back pressure gets higher(a result of higher boost) it overcomes the spring pressure and releases exhaust from around the turbine.
So you essentially need a mount for the spring to create pressure against a threaded rod (with a nut and washer on...
Thanks! Having used it a few times now, I really like it, no trying to remember a pin or anything, and it seems to stay put really well, our road is pretty bad with frost heaves, and it has stayed up. plus it really saves my back when trying to climb up to do engine work
My dad picked me up a...
It's been wet, so I haven't done all that much, but I knocked a few small things out today.
Started by making a way to keep my step up, I was going to try and make a latch, but saw these cabinet magnets, so figured I would give it a go, seem decently strong, and if I need to I can get another...
