How about buying one from a private party?
Do you know how wxpensive it is to have a FMTV transported to your location? And hoe much it will coat to make it driveable?
You will soon learn that this is not a hobby you will fo on a budget. Or you'll have to know these in and out and can work on them.
The first injector came out really clean. I used 99% alcohol and did three passes. first with the injector whole. second, with the injector cracked a bit ( so the parts could move inside) then I tool it apart and cleaned the lower portion again.
Then I cleaned with alcohol and kim wipes. Then I...
Are the injectors under tension when they come apart? Just to make sure stuff doesnt go flying when i take one apart.

I found out that the rear wheel cylinder were not leaking (bought new ones though). I didn't replace them, yet. because the bolts were so totally rusted that they were almost round (crapp).
So what is leaking is the seal. I'll see if AutoZone has a loaner tool to get the...
I remember having taken the instrument panel out so many times in various CUCV and almost always wound up breaking something and get really annoyed. I got a burned out bulb and still try to resist the temptation of taking that sucker out.
So I'll crawl under the dash and try that way first.
