    You could hone those cylinders another .005 and still be the same bore as a 6.5L.

    The bore of a 6.2L is 3.980 inches. The bore of a 6.5L is 4.060 inches which is .080 bigger than the 6.2L. Think about that a little bit.

    Do you have 12 volt at the diamond on the front firewall? Sounds like fusible link is melted.

    Worn valve guides in heads allow exhaust to come back up between the valve and guide and prematurely "cook" the valve seals and make them brittle.

    Check all connections at batteries and starter. Even though batteries are new load test them. Starter or starter solenoid may be bad. Remove starter and have it checked. Report back.

    One of the new aluminum heater cores properly installed and sealed will provide nearly as much heat as an August day in Oklahoma! :LOL: Well maybe not quite that much but it is a lot warmer in cold weather!

    I have cleaned diesel nozzles at pumps with ether because they were so nasty. Works good. If you think diesel was bad try the Seafoam or keep adding ATF. It might still free up that injector. Maybe try not driving it so hard for a while. I would put in the Seafoam in a nearly empty tank and run...

    Try a quart of Seafoam to a tank of diesel.

    Dexron II or III is what I always used. I would also get some seafoam and use it pretty strong if ATF doesn't work.
