I use 80/90W in the axles, and T case but have switched to 30W ND motor oil in the trans. I do not notice any difference.

Make sure the fuel shut off is all the way in.. it may have stuck out and that is keeping the fuel shut off.... happened before.

I have set up 100's or axles and I never have had to use a spreader. Yes some are WAY TOO tight but like said above.. a pry bar will pop it out. I have even used slide hammers before.

Just cut the lines and re-flare the ends.... Not that hard. And if you cross the lines to the other side you MAY have problems towing a trailer. One side is the service brakes and the other is the emergency air line. You would NOT want to get them mixed up on a trailer.

You can make one for about 6 bucks. Other wise Saturn surplus or any other parts suppler.

Dawn dish soap and time... I soaked half my truck and there is no really good way to removed it off CARC. just use a little soap and really just weather and time.

900's are larger, like WAY larger. All deuce/800 and M37's are the same.

The only difference is the steering shaft placement. The NSN is the same for all of them. I have been there done the swap with a new NOS cab in a box. There all the same.

The steering shaft hole is different between the deuce and 5 ton. other then that its a bolt in. The cab will have both Knock outs in the fire wall. will just have to patch one up.
