That thing is pretty sturdy. I shook it to see if it wanted to move but I just couldnt get that creepy feeling out of my head when I looked under it to check out the driveshaft. However with that said, if you look closely in the other pics you will see one of those trailers stacked on top of one...
I'd like one of those trailers too but when they got piled up alot of the brake hardware got tore up. (Not Glens fault, They are a metal recycler after all, and time is money)
Unfortunatley I can not scrape up enough cash to buy one outright before it goes to the crusher. (Unless Glen and Pete...
The way Salina stacked and banded them pretty much took care of the tool boxes.
Heres the stuff I picked up yesterday. Glen, when I tore open that bag of bolts I found the packing list and its for mounting a fuel pod on those 5 ton trailers. Since I found the 3 ground in rods and there were...
As long as we are beating the capitalization and puncuation drum..........Do not use text type acronyms like AFAIK Noteveryone here is that tech savy and it makes posts just as hard to figure out. (As Far As I know)
EMD567, I'll try to remember and PM you before I go next time and see if you still need it. I was going to try to remove a front driveshaft for another member but several things stopped me, 1. the yard was just to wet and muddy to lay on the ground and pull it. 2. Glens workers had a truck set...
I like both those ideas. Ive got some square tubing in the garage.
I always carry chocks with me. And use them anywhere there is any slight incline, the parking brake on my deuce (bobbed) held fine, but I never trusted it.
:ditto: Why do people have to go F-it up for everyone. Glens one of the nicest guys to deal with and as you can see has lots and lots of parts
that can be saved.
(Guess I know why Glen hasn't answered my PM about coming down to the yard today) :-(
I tried to look elsewhereon that site but it askedfor a login. Do they make bulbs that would fit into the taillight sockets? I would love to find some replacements for just the bulbs without buying the exspensive LED taillights so I can run my M101 unmodified behind either my MV or my civy Jeep.
Measure the front axle in the same location. Alot of guys just take the complete front suspension off a parts truck and use it on the rear of their bobbed trucks.
