I'm going to make a long wheel base tractor. It already looks killer with the axles moved! I played with the idea of stretching the frame to make it even longer, but I'm going to keep it under control on the first tractor conversion.
Hey guys. I am moving the axles on my 925 to match a 931. I will also be adding a sleeper, air ride seats, round tanks, pyro, turning it up and governor springs. I found all the dimensions from a 931 data plate, but the rear drive shaft flange looks too close to the hitch cross member. I'm...
Hey guys I did some HID's on my deuce. I got 6000k 35w high low 24v wiring and bulbs. The eBay guy is thinking he sent me a 12volt kit because it's smoked the bulbs and housings. We are working in getting warranty stuff straight he is sending the proper bulbs and wiring. My question is has...
Hey guys as I give a bit more thought to the above comments. This thread is dedicated to sharing how much we have hauled with a 5 ton. A truck that is rated to GVWR 52,000 lbs. Granted I surpassed my trailers capacity by 7,000 lbs and the truck is not rated to pull the 931. However there are...
The opposite of what we are looking for here. My friends were all busy when GL load out day came, I was too excited to wait. I was in the middle of building my service body set up for welding. The fender clearance was nearly nothing after I got the truck loaded I would I was sure it was going...
She has made many loads! We maxed out the side height with 18 tons of sand and it pushed it right up. I actually sold the truck to my good friend and he hauled 24 loads in 4 days. I will admit I did not think the truck would be as hydraulically strong as it is. Fun practical project.
These are my wheels. 5in backspacing I believe they came from cc Equiptment. No problems on lifted bobbed deuce with 16.00's. My bed is different but I guess what I'm getting at is these wheels move the tires out.
If you back out the screw more, it should come out of the hole, and spool up pretty quick.
Ill give it a shot it's already puffing a little smoke so we will see! Thanks
I've adjusted the pre boost fuel screw on my 925a2. The truck still lugs like crazy coming out of the hole compared to my 923a1. In terms of initial power for the 8.3 is this normal? I have 4k gov springs and am planning on installing one day along with a bit of boost fuel adjustment.
Hey guys I have been doing a bit of searching. Check you this link to see what you think?http://www.bigrigpowerproducts.com/p-9372-tst-power-kit-cummins-83-6cta.aspx
I can't tell if it's just a shim for the pump or what. They make some pretty big claims in HP with the other kits
