Engine restore oil additive and the multifuel

Wasn't the CP4 pump "supposed" to be made to run on ULS diesel?

Engine restore oil additive and the multifuel

Another pretty good indication you better be running one of the better diesel additives if you want your pump and injectors to survive in EVERY diesel you run!

    USA-made power steering pump?

Just be sure to spray your favorite spray lube (penetrating oil) into the crack where the pump and can seal a few times and let it soak. Comes apart a lot easier and is easier on the can.

Doesn't take much to stick my 1031

I have seen Goodyear's do this without chains on my gravel roads! And it happens with tires that are not worn out at 30 to 40 mph.

Doesn't take much to stick my 1031

I am on my second set of these Cooper tires in 235/85R16 on my 1031 flat bed. They go really good in all conditions and are nice on hiway too. I have come up on new pickups stuck in the middle of the road and pulled around them in the bar ditch in really bad mud and never slid sideways because...

How many miles do you drive your CUCV per year?

I drive my M1031 with the ProFab hay bed around 10,000 miles a year. It works great with the 4.56 gears checking cattle and feeding them. It gets used on a daily basis year around doing all kinds of farm work. Been doing this for about 8 years now.

Commander5993, Stay with it and you will succeed. At least you are learning how to work on all the components and you will have the satisfaction of knowing what parts are installed into them and how they work and perform.

    CUCV 1986 M1008 - In a Real Pickle - Bad Heads - Need Advice

Always check your batteries with a good load tester and take any guess work out of the picture. If those are 6 years old they would be suspect.

If the compressor isn't running how are you telling if it is over or under charged?

What did you do to your trailer today.

Just be careful and don't eat too much. If cattle eat too much they can lose their hair!

6.2-6.5 long block or short block questions?

I would check the heads. The bottom end gets the blame a lot of the time when valve guides are worn out. I have seen "new" heads not be any good from day one. New valves not fitted to new guides properly can be in really bad shape in 20,000 miles.
